New DELFI 5” Professional Series

In the lifecycle of a water system, one of the most common maintenance issues involves the start-up capacitor of single-phase submersible pumps. When it fails, the repair is rarely simple: the entire line must be disconnected, the pump removed, and the work often takes place in difficult conditions. This results in long downtimes, plant shutdowns, and high costs.

FB Submersible Motors and Pumps presents a solution designed to simplify this critical step: the new DELFI 5” Professional Series, equipped with an external start-up capacitor, is a real innovation for field technicians.

Quick and direct access to the capacitor for easier maintenance

The decision to separate the capacitor from the pump body addresses a real need: simplifying access to a component subject to wear, without having to intervene on the entire system. Routine or emergency maintenance becomes quick and easy, with no need to remove the pump from the well.

Simplifying the process means shorter intervention times, lower costs, and reduced system downtime. For professionals, this translates into greater operational efficiency and better resource management.

DELFI 5” Professional Series: designed for field professionals

The DELFI 5” Professional Series is a technical evolution of the DELFI family, aimed at those who need reliable solutions that are easy to install and maintain over time. It runs on single-phase power, with flow rates up to 140 liters/minute and heads up to 106 meters, and features a high-efficiency 1.5 kW motor.
Components are engineered for durability in both agricultural and residential applications: IP68 protection for the pump, IP54 for the control panel.

The base version comes with 10 meters of cable and a float switch included, with longer cables available on request.
The capacitor is external and integrated into the ICB control panel (sold separately), offering greater system flexibility.
