To increase the safety level of water suction systems, a PT 100 thermistor can be inserted into 6” to 10” motors in order to monitor their internal temperature continually and accurately.
The probe must be connected to an LT110 temperature controller, which checks that the motor remains within its correct operating limits.
If the temperature exceeds the permitted limit, the controller will stop motor operation.
