We recommend using the "LINK" kit for a professional-quality junction with excellent electrical, mechanical and water resistance.
The kit consists of: butt crimp connectors made of tin-plated copper, low-thickness heat-shrink tubing to cover each cable conductor, a Scotch 2547 strip, a Scotchfil strip and medium-thickness heat-shrink tubing to cover the junction.
We recommend sealing the two ends with PVC-backed tape.
