The dielectric capacitor is in polypropylene film, the electrodes consist of an extremely thin metal coating
obtained by vacuum evaporation. Case and cover are made with self-extinguishing plastic material, the capacitive element is sealed with polyurethanic resin.

Flexible cable with isolating and sheath in EPR rubber suitable for permanent immersion in drinking-water. The Drincable cable is non toxic and waterproof and it has been approved by WRAS, ACS and KTW according to BS 6920: it states that colonies of microorganism of the water are not altered by the cable sample immersed in it.
For a professionally made junction it is recommended to use LINK kit, it has excellent requirements in terms of electric, mechanical and water resistance. This kit is composed of: crimp wire connectors in tinplated copper, thin wall heat-shrinkable tubing to cover the conductor of the cable, a strip of Scotch 2547, one of Scotchfil and medium wall heat-shrinkable tubing to cover the junction. It is recommended to seal the two end points of the sheath with a PVC textured insulating tape.
The heat-shrinkable tubing of modified polyolefin is used for sealing and protecting low voltage components. It is used to restore the insulation and the cable coating and anywhere first-rate mechanical resistance to impact, abrasion and to atmospheric agents are requested. It’s suitable also to be used in submerged areas. The tubing is divided into two classes: thin and medium wall thickness. Inside it has a heat-activated adhesive for watertight purposes, which is more substantial in the medium wall thickness type.
EPR self-fusing insulating tape, with separator. Thanks to its conformability it perfectly adapts to any shape forming an homogeneous and dense mass.

Electrical insulation putty in synthetic rubber. It has excellent electrical properties and a good ageing resistance; it allows to fill up empty spaces and cavities. For an efficient mechanical protection, Scotchfil has to be coated with a layer of Scotch 2547 and a PVC textured tape (Scotch 50).

In order to enhance the security level of the water supply system, it is possible to insert inside the motor from 6” to 10” a thermoresistance called PT 100 which constantly and primly controls the internal temperature of the motor.
The probe has to be connected to a temperature controller LT110 who checks that the motor respects the values established for the correct working. If the temperature exceeds the allowed limits the controller will block the motor.
Thermocontroller to be inserted in the control panel, suitable for the submersible motor temperature survey by PT 100 temperature sensor. The controller act if the motor exceed the presetted thresholds. The thermocontroller operates interrupting the motor supply by the line contactor inside the control panel. It is possible to avail another output of the regulator, that may be used for alarm warnings.
Cooling sleeves for submersible pumps guarantee the improvement of submersible motor working, as they allow heat loss through water flow in the cooling sleeve. It is recommended to use the cooling sleeve when the speed of the water can't cool down the motor, like for example when the diameter of the weel is greater than the diameter of the pump or when the pump is installed in a tank. For horizontal application, the cooling sleeve is supplied with retaining structure.
